I provide professional consultation services for mental health professionals, groups, and organizations who are looking to improve what they do in service of others.
Services
Individual Supervision
I am qualified to provide clinical supervision for graduate students and qualifying members of the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario. I offer this service privately as well as through practicum opportunities in my workplace. Please note that my capacity for this is limited.
Group Supervision & Consultation
Through my own participation and mentorship in a specific narrative group supervision approach called Reflecting Teams (through my work with Dr. David Pare and The Glebe Institute in Ottawa over the years), bringing small groups of mental health professionals together for group supervision & consultation allows for an enriching learning experience for all when I cannot meet the demand for individual supervision and consultation, or when a pre-formed group of professionals reaches out to me.
Individual Consultation
I also provide clinical consultation for individual mental health professionals of various educational backgrounds who are seeking guidance as a professional development and best practice measure. Distinct from supervision, I do not get access to clients’ identifying information.
Organizational Consultation
From time to time, mental health organizations and treatment centres face challenges for which they lack the expertise or neutrality internally to overcome on their own. If I can be of service, as an external consultant, I’m happy to help. I have played various managerial roles in both residential and community-based mental health services. My areas of knowledge include: clinical documentation; treatment philosophy and approaches; client outcomes; program planning, design, and implementation; group facilitation; and more.
